I have a lot of tunes in my playlists that fit the kind of grindhouse vibe this album has so I found myself having a lot of patience for Zombie Land. I found a few of the songs to be a bit zany and off the wall and this gives them a kind of charm all of their own however I did bounce right off some others.
My favourite tracks are Wish, Corona Zombies and Circles. To me these had the best guitar work and feel.
Overall there is some clever stuff going on here but I feel it is a bit hit and miss. If you are a fan of bands like The Arkhams, Gypsy Pistoleros or Knock Galley West then you might get more out of this than others.
