The first part of this album put me in mind of some of the trashy punk stoner rock sounds of the 70s/80s – a sort of mash up of the Damned/Cramps/Hawkwind/Zeppelin – but without the rizz of any of those acts. The Beck- influenced tracks (Kiss my Lips / Heath Ledgers Canoo) were probably the best on the album.
Part of me liked the thrown-together nature of it although the lyrics drove me nuts – way too much repetition.
An ok listen but it won’t be making it onto any of my playlists. 5/10.
